Lucks Hill (Malling Grange)

Avante Care & Support are building a new 70-bedroom care home at Lucks Hill in West Malling, Kent. We are recording the work with our time-lapse cameras and regularly visiting the site with our drone!

The new home is being constructed by Barcroft Estates in conjunction with Lawrence Baker. It will contribute to Avante’s Vision of ‘Communities where everyone has a vibrant and fulfilling life’, and is expected to open to new residents in the second half of 2026.

Lucks Hill will be the second new care home Avante will open within a year following the planned completion of another in Westgate-On-Sea near Margate at the end of 2025. We are capturing progress and providing update films for both projects, and it is a pleasure to be involved!

Pre-start drone shoot:

We visited first the area before the diggers arrived, to capture the some pre-project aerial footage of the site.

POST-start drone shoot:

We returned a year later to record a fantastic start to the project

SITE PROGRESS drone shoot:

We visited the site again almost another year later to capture the amazing progress that had been made on site. You can really see the transformation of the site and the quality of the build so far!

As well as being used on social media as the progress is ongoing, the drone footage will be combined with footage from our time-lapse cameras to add interest to the final film.
